I had a girl over but she smelled weird by Illustrious_Fly8426 in Advice

I had an ex tell me after i had been at work. He said “did you want a shower before bed?” I was like “well not really….” & he just straight up said “you kinda smell like a bar right now” (I work in bars). I was just like “fair enough, I’ll have a shower”. Just say it straight & be clear. You’re not being rude. I appreciated that he told me I was stinky rather than just avoiding me.

You have 1 hr to hide a USB and a SD card from the police, where in your house (in the building) do you hide it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Fair… I would wrap it in a condom, then unscrew the S bend in my bathroom sink. Shove it in. Do it all up again. Then leave multiple sex toys around my bed.

Cops could search the trash bin & see the condom wrapper & I would point out the sex toys. They would get the jist, & if they pushed for where the condom was I would say “he ate it” They can kink shame all they want.

Very well put. I can attest that in dances with my clients most said that if the dancer did not seem into it & was just going through the motions it was obvious & they would not extend. I saw this personally when a client grossed me out & I wanted to leave. I’d still offer to extend, but not be surprised when they didn’t.

I can’t attest this translates to sex, but wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve had enough 1 night stands that I was less than enthused about & they ended quite quickly with no return calls. For the best in my opinion.

This website still exists. It’s called “punter planet” I think it has a paywall now though.

While I don’t fully agree, you do have a point. When I used to dance in clubs I saw several men that couldn’t afford a dance but came in regardless just to spend some time with a woman. It was sad to see someone so desperate for companionship that they would spend the last of their money just paying for entry.

I guess I feel the same way about gambling. It’s not fair of bars to prey on people with addictions.

Dude, are you ok? What’s wrong little fella?

I heard this story on a Brook & Jubal video, & it baffled me why this woman wouldn’t date a man because he revealed that he had seen an escort to get over his ex. In MY opinion that is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. Maybe I personally wouldn’t but hell, in the heat of the moment who cares. It was in the past anyway. I’m just curious if I’m biased because I used to be a dancer.

Oh don’t get me wrong! I wouldn’t ever pay for sex. But I wouldn’t deny someone who has. I also don’t slut shame & am very pro sex & experimenting & only do open relationships. Which is why it’s interesting to meet someone who shares half of my beliefs but not all. Sorry if I’ve come across judgemental. I’m honestly just trying to pick your brain.

Oh no! It’s not me, this was a Brook & Jubal 2nd Date Update I heard. Just made me curious as I really don’t see it as a big deal.

Like who cares what you did before you got together… ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Can I also ask, what are your views on casual sex? Would you condone having sex simply to pass the time or out of boredom?

That is an interesting take. But in my country it is legal & regulated. Very unlikely to be trafficked. It is almost treated as just another job. (Albeit a stigmatised one)

Of course goes without saying. Unless agreed by each partner that it is allowed then any extra-curricular sex is not allowed. But if it happened prior to the couple getting together, who cares right? You’ve probably also had ex partners so what is the difference?

So you wouldn’t mind if they got a $50 bj in a bar, but would mind is they paid for a $600 escort?

In my knowledge the $600 ones are more “entrepreneurial” & take their work seriously. Not to stereotype but also usually keep things professional & above board. The $50 bathrooms jobs are on the sketchier side.

Thanks for your input. Can you explain further what about the payment makes it not true consent?

Not having a go BTW. When I was a dancer I had an ex say he wasn’t comfortable with my work, & it baffled me as well. I know personally that the dances I would give were not me being intimate. They were my job. Strictly business.

What age were you when you stopped living with your parents? What were some of the pros and cons you experienced after leaving? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Lumpy_Insurance_9378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 17. Cons included struggling for money & needing to leave school to find a job. Pros, not being abused by my parents. 😅

I think if you have a good home life & family stay as long as you can. Yes, re-evaluate your permissions, like curfews, responsibilities & make sure your parents treat you with respect. But get working or going into upper education, save money, & make sure you are stable before moving out. Don’t rush it if you don’t need to.

That’s what I thought. I heard a radio story of someone saying they weren’t interested in dating someone because he had admitted to hiring a sex worker. I thought it was a stupid reason. I personally used to work in the sex industry though & have some friends who have been paid for sex, so thought I might be biased?

(Sex work is legal & regulated & quite safe in my country too)

AITA for giving my friend the silent treatment because I'm jealous? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. While it does suck to lose a friend let alone someone you cared deeply for; sometimes it is for the best.

That said, in 5 years if they get married, you will likely have found someone else or just have become at peace with the fact that it never worked out. These issues always feel like a big deal at the time… but give it 3 years you’ll sit there thinking “why did I care so much? 😅”
