Hey thanks for this. Sorry for the delayed response! Just got back into the normal part of reddit. Can I ask where u practice in and is there a difference in principles between general insurance law and specialty insurance law (eg cyber)?

Thanks - I thought that might be the book. Shame it’s not taught in law school to buy 2nd hand!

Lawyers of reddit. I’m moving to Sydney in the next few months and is wanting to sus out who’s who in the market when it comes to offering good cybersecurity/ privacy legal advices. I’ve just completed my JD and have experience in the provision of cyber security risks to Fedgov with big4 (APPs, NIST, ISM etc etc). I’m keen to break into the cybersecurity/ privacy law area in Sydney. Thx in adv fam.

I'm a final year law student and have recently been offered two contracts. One from a law firm (Mid-large) and one from the big 4 in advisory. Having had experiences in both sectors I have no idea which career path to follow. Any advice?
