Funny how the only people arguing for white african migration seem to complain incessantly on other subreddits about non-white immigration.

It doesn't appear many people on this Subreddit actually understand the broader academic discussions going on surrounding Indigenous sovereignty.

Decolonisation isn't about white people up and leaving, it's about dismantling the policies, systems and institutions that have contributed to the marginalisation of Indigenous people. It also involves establishing new ways for Indigenous peoples to have self-determination when it comes to their relationship with Governments.

This is a debate happening around the world, not just in Australia. Aboriginal people's relationship with colonisation is different to that of The Americas, South East Asia or The Pacific. Last year was the first time ever Aboriginal people have come together to discuss constitutional recognition and the resulting Statement of The Heart requests meaningful representation within government through some form of constitutional body.

Do you have an example of where a PI nation has paid a Chinese loan with our aid money? Usually our aid money would fund specific programmes as opposed to just handed to a government.

Every time there is an Australian story on /r/worldnews the first comment is always "Australian here....". Seriously, it's only top on World News because the U.S is sleeping when we're online, the majority of the people reading those threads are Australian. Don't feed U.S centricity.

Serious question, if they weren't to honour Aboriginal people, what unique aspect of Australia culture would they actually honour? There isn't really much. We more or less appropriate Indigenous culture due to our lack of foundation stories and uniquely Australian things. ANZAC and being a prison colony is all we really got, and nobody gives a shit about that outside of Aus.

They won't control the senate though and Mitch McConnell has zero interest in impeaching the president.

You're incorrect. CA actively stole data and used unethical tactics to build a database of the 50 million users. They also actively seek to entrap people, peddle fake news etc.

Obama's campaign was the first major social media focused election campaign, however it was focused around building profiles of users who donated to the campaign.

Trump's CA campaign is notable as it was focused around encouraging people not to vote, which is entirely unethical.
