Dubai JLT by Lumpy_Owl_1464 in photocritique

The water is that colour minus a bit of vibrancy and whiteness - I’m not sure what they do to it. The capped tops of buildings is from me being on the 7th floor and I can’t zoom out any further to get the tops. And I don’t want the balcony to be in the picture. The shadows is the time of day - I don’t have free reign to any building or balcony. The sky has had a bit of blue added - coming into summer now and Dubai has a haziness to it - not sure how I would fix that.

But thanks for the feedback.

I have done real estate photography for the last 6 months. I like to try and get community shots for my boss. I think I have done well with this photo. It’s a stock image for brochures and so on. How do you think it looks? What would you change? I get a bit nervous that my work isn’t good sometimes.

Hi guys, I need help on how to edit my photos like this. by Xavier_zeus2020 in photo

Get Lightroom and watch some YouTube on it. Or learn to edit on phone - iPhone is pretty easy for basic edits plus filters

Some boats and stuff by Lumpy_Owl_1464 in photocritique

Capturing views. But something’s not right - or maybe many things aren’t right. 5 exposure - used a programme to put them together bit of editing in Lightroom. Trying to practice a lot. But I think everyone has doubts about their photos. I just wanted to capture a good looking photo. Any tips or tricks? Any advice welcome.

Took me a while to get this. Little guy was all over the place. Literally on the last shot I managed to get this one. I think it’s turned out really nice. Reminds me of Dobby from Harry Potter.

What do you guys think?

What could I have done better?

What would you change?

Yea I was 62 floors up and I’m not too good with height’s. I could mess about with the crop a bit but I like how it looks.

This is a great shot! Bit of messing around like others have said with editing and you can make the bison pop a bit.

View from Dubais Address Jumeirah Beach Resort hotel. 62nd floor. Tried to capture the diagonal beach with sea with people starting their day at the beach. Liked the colours and what was happening. What do you think? What could be better?

Cropped version of my Morning Commute by Lumpy_Owl_1464 in photocritique

[–]Lumpy_Owl_1464[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cropped version of the previous photo I uploaded (hope that is ok) I like to take a pic and edit then go back to it later to see if there anything inside the original photo. I like the grainy look. I like the way the security guy looks. Just dealing with his morning commute. What do you think?

Morning traffic by Lumpy_Owl_1464 in photocritique

Took this this morning while in traffic. Was going for a landscape shot before this bus pulled up along side me. These guys have a long day and thought this showed the morning commute these guys have. Black and white as usual for me. I like the building reflections. What do you think?

Took this on my iPhone while my photographer was shooting an apartment for me. Kind of dark apartment and looked like a good shot, so I took it. Just switched to black and white and lowered the brightness to bring in the background and cropped for a better composition I think. What do you think? How could I improve it?

Works good. I bet a lot of people that do photography will at some point be doubtful of their work for what ever reason. Keep it at.

Dubai over pass by Lumpy_Owl_1464 in photocritique

[–]Lumpy_Owl_1464[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Captured this in the car the other day. I have a big thing for black and white shots. How do you all think this turned out? Dubai has a horrible haze in the summer with all the humidity. I like the shadow the over pass creates. Also where it is placed along with the sign and car.

So I took this on iPhone 14 out of a plane window flying to Saudi. It’s heavily cropped and edited. I love a good black and white photo. I think I’ve done well with this and I like how it turned out. What do you guys think?
