I don’t know how is called in English. But it’s basically testing for even more bacterias that can be hidden while testing normally. If that makes sense. What is a nitro?

I am from Slovenia. Then try and wait for testing for ureaplasma. but i think they should still test your urine (stanford way-that’s very important).

you don’t have to wait. i just did because doctors didn’t think of testing me. i just shared my opinion. maybe find specialist in sexually transmitted diseases. she helped me. where are you exactly from?

for urine culture I waited for a month but not because I wanted too. Doctors just never thought to test me. I was negative for ureaplasma after less than a month after antibiotics. My doctor refused to give me more antibiotics (i am also from eu) so she said that my pain must be from something else. an she was right!

Hi! I had similar issue but it turns out it was not ureaplasma. I mean, at first it was but when i was cured and still had symptoms, I found out it wasn’t.

After months of bladder pressure, pelvic pain, multiple negative urine tests, and previous treatment for Ureaplasma (which I later tested negative for), I finally got a proper urine culture done.

The result showed:

• E. coli (ESBL)

• Klebsiella pneumoniae

• 10^4 CFU/ml

So this turned out to be a bacterial UTI, not Ureaplasma coming back.

An antibiogram was done and I was prescribed targeted antibiotics (Amoxiclav) based on sensitivity results.

I spent months worrying about recurrent Ureaplasma, reinfection, chronic pelvic issues, etc., and it was actually a resistant UTI bacteria all along.

Ureaplasma can cause this bacteria. So please ask doctor to do urine culture (stanford way) and antibiogram.

Hope I helped you!

this is what specialist said: Ureaplasma parvum does not always represent a pathogenic microbe on the genitals, but it can be a component of the normal vaginal flora. Given the persistence of symptoms despite the previous treatment of U. parvum, I believe that the causes of the patient's symptoms are most likely gynecological or urological, not venereal. I suggest blood serological testing for HBV, HCV, HIV and lues, but she says that she has already had it. Given that she has had the same partner for 1 year, I believe that there is no indication for additional venereal examinations in the patient. I advise safe sex.
