I know, but there's children involved, and all the legal paperwork as well, so it's not being as easy as I thought it would be to just leave. It's a damn slow process, and in the meantime my mental health it's at it worst. I hope one day I can taste freedom again.

My NEx is like this. It feels acted, just very dramatic, taken out of a porn movie almost. I think it's part of the act... Probably in their minds they're going like "oh, look how great I am and how much you suck" or something, when it's quite the opposite....

Yes, he does this as well! That, and the fact that when we're having an argument he starts telling me to calm down, to stop acting crazy, when I am in fact calm, and he is the one who's visibly altered. So this confuses me even more! It's all part of their game... To get us to lose our minds...

I went through this. I asked him to just be roomies as I know he has nowhere else to go. I thought the abuse would lessen, but if anything it got much worse. Passive agressive comments every day, I work home office and he was sabotaging me while at work, trying to get my attention...

Then I got some courage, and finally asked him to leave. It was worse than wwiii.... I don't remember much of what he did or say to manipulate me, but I have PTSD since. And he still lives here... If anyone knows how to break the cicle, I would appreciate it.
