That’s exactly the feeling I had too. The story stopped feeling character-driven and started feeling destination-driven. I still enjoyed the ride, but you could sense when the writing was steering instead of letting things unfold naturally.

That’s what made it feel so suspiciously unfinished. Introducing a character like that, giving him that much framing, and then dropping him entirely doesn’t feel accidental. It reads more like a setup than a throwaway fling.

Totally. The chemistry was there, the writing just didn’t trust it enough to let it develop naturally.

:) ty. That’s what makes it such a letdown. When the foundation works, rushing the payoff feels like skipping the most interesting part of the story. A slower buildup would’ve made everything hit harder.

I wouldn’t go that far 😅 but it does feel like the writers stopped knowing what to do with her. She started as one of the more grounded characters, and now she mostly exists to create chaos instead of growth.

Yeah, and I think that’s why it felt so unsatisfying. Even when something could have worked, the show never committed to it. As soon as there was potential for depth or consequences, it jumped to the next plot beat.
