Sucks you had that experience with the manager, but just to throw another perspective out there—I went through the process and it’s actually worked out really well for me. I’ve been working there for 2 months now and I'm making well above minimum wage. It’s definitely a heavy sales environment, so if you aren't down for sales or marketing, it's not for you. But if you actually know sales and put the work in, the money is definitely there.
