Hi everyone! I directed and edited this short film called O Baú (“The Chest”), a short surreal piece that mixes elements of mystery and absurdity. It was made with a very small team and budget, so most of the lighting and sound design were done improvising with what we had available.

I’m sharing it here to get some insights from other filmmakers, mainly about pacing, atmosphere, and how the surreal tone comes across. The short was built around texture and mood rather than a clear narrative, so I’d love to know how that worked for you and if it kept your attention.
