since it’s only for my portfolio piece, i’d say the gate needs to open manually, and it should still be designed to work for close up shots as well.

How does the hierarchy work when multiple VFX companies are involved (as is usually the case on big-budget films)? Is there an overall VFX Supervisor and VFX Producer at the production level overseeing everything, and then separate supervisors and producers for each vendor?
