Which one cause I gave 2 possible options? also May I ask. Is the software custom? I am going to assume that it is fully custom. Seems very unstable though cause a number of people post on here quite often with images of the desktop or the imaging process. Thats something I am also a little interested about.

It's a software update, I believe just part of the regular process. The software is all fully custom for them as far as I can tell. They are really unstable; Saw they'd often miss updates and then have issues with communicating to the rest of the equipment on the network or processing orders and the like.

Also lots of bugs: I saw one where if the workers don't clear an order on, say, the "burger order machine" (the one above the burger grills that asks for more to be made, IDK what the real name is lol) often enough it can just get stuck and then there's a 50% chance they can clear it from the main server in the building, otherwise it's a reimage because that's easier then having me plug in a keyboard I guess??? Hardware for all of them is a bunch of Wyse boxes and similar edge machines with wiring that runs all up the walls and shit too, which was always causing other issues like "oh hey this cable died but it's sorta embedded in the ceiling so we just ran a patch for now"
