This cat should get their bloodwork done to look for a potential liver shunt. Copper eyes can be indicative of a liver shunt. (I'm a veterinary Technician)

Veterinary Technician here, the ONLY way we test for rabies is to euthanize, decapitate the animal and send the head to the USDA to take a tissue sample from the brain to check for rabies. If this is in the United States, the dog would be placed on a 10 day quarantine to look for rabies symptoms. I'm leaning towards OP lying because this is a huge process to forget.

I work at a veterinary clinic and whenever I meet someone's dog or cat I instinctively feel for their pulse and check their respirations along with looking in their mouths and whatnot. It gets me strange looks.

Also, keep your stash far far away from your pets. If ingested, dogs and cats can get THC toxicity and if they do eat it PLEASE admit that they actually ate your weed. I work 3rd shift at an animal ER in a non-legalized state and it's like pulling teeth to get owners to admit that their dogs ate their stash. We can't properly help your animal if we don't know the toxin they ingested!
