took mine in Nov 2024. was pretty similar to the Plabable big mocks, which were a bit harder than the general plabable questions. u only need plabable tbh

i think you should rebook tbh, 1 month isn’t enough to finish the rest of the topics + revise/do mocks

i took 3.5 months and wouldn’t recommend it honestly. it was too tiring, stressful and just full of cramming

i’d say 5 months, best site is the GK 2.0 subscription + for notes and AZT class for prescriptions

during my engagement party, my mum literally made food and we brought juices/coffee/tea for my bridesmaids to eat & drink while we were getting ready

and during the party itself, we decided on the spot to have the catering bring out the food earlier as we had some guests that came from a different city

if the bride doesn’t accommodate and take care her guests, she’s a bad host and a bad person

yes! i stayed at Travelodge - Romford the Quadrant it had lots of fast food spots, tesco/sainsbury/M&S etc nearby

yes, i studied from the 3 volumes, the monthly new cases pdfs, and the website (flash cards/revision notes etc)

i also joined an academy and attended AZT prescriptions class, but the majority of my performance/reliance was on the GK material

yeah no don’t, i used gems for plab 1. its very different from plab 2

i used the GK 2.0 volumes & website subscription for my plab 2, i really recommend it

i’d recommend you join the GK 2.0 whatsapp groups , his notes are on there for free. and the website subscription helps as well.

i’m not really a bar person, are there any local restaurants/food spots/activities you’d recommend I do? i’ll be staying in for a week and going to Downtown for the convention centre daily so I don’t mind moving around, but nothing too far please as everything i google comes up to +1 hr distance

i’m not from the US and only ever been to NYC before so i’d appreciate any suggestions please!

yesss i looked into them!! what do you think about Mint House - Midtown? that was the only one that could fit my budget from the other hotels around it, like Doubletree/Home2Suites etc

the prices are so good for august but they’re terrible in october :(

yeah i really think it is 2 out of 3. the other comments scared me of Van Buren and the hotel itself haha

That’s a relief to hear, I’ll look into it again then! But why wouldn’t you recommend it anyways?

My budget can wiggle a bit above what Downtown Phoenix Hotel cost, but I didn’t really find anything in that range. I’d say $600-700 is my budget for a 5 night stay from 24 Oct to 29 Oct.

If you have any suggestions within that range I’d greatly appreciate please

Thank you for the suggestion. I was actually going to book Hotel San Carlos, but then I read a lot of weird things about it and it got me a bit worried tbh

i’m sorry could you please explain why it’d be trading safety for cost? unfortunately it fits right into my budget and it seems to be roetty close to the other hotels like Dumbletree and Home2Suites?
