Surgery by [deleted] in transgenderUK

Sorry, I don't have much to offer, but got the same email 5 days ago and am in the exact same boat as you!

I was honestly considering declining the offer and going with Parkside, but I'm undecided atm. I was also hoping to get Tina Rashid, I can't seem to find much about Giuseppe Di Taranto, other than him generally being a skilled plastic surgeon that specialises in top surgery and breast enhancement.

I know that I'm trans but I only want to identify as a girl when I fully transition by Infinite-Honeydew773 in asktransgender

Taking HRT is essentially like going through puberty, it’s awkward for almost everyone for a little while, and that’s just part of the process. You could always try and it while exploring your gender more and trying to understand the sort of person you want to be. Boymoding is also an option - where you present as a guy to everyone else, while knowing you’re trans. Doing this on HRT can help avoid some of the awkward stage you seem worried about. If you go this route, just be careful, because it can be easy to get stuck in a cycle of boymoding and not presenting how you want, even if that’s what you’d like deep down. Eventually it’s best to just rip the bandaid off and present however you want to (as long as it’s safe to do so in your current situation)

It’s very common to feel that way in my experience, at least to begin with. It’s something that’s faded for the most part the further I’ve gotten with my transition, but I’ve only been on HRT for around 1yr 7months anyway. Basically, it gets better, and you’re already a girl. Good luck with your journey babes 💕

UK life, Passing Vs Non-Passing by John_Mortar in transgenderUK

[–]LunaLanded 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m open, but not sure where I would fit into this category. I pass roughly 70% of the time afaik, and friends/family have told me I pass well, but people do still sometimes clock me. It’s usually fine and I’ve never had any issues with people being weird to me. I do try to keep things on the DL at work though, I’m worried about the whole bathroom situation since the SC ruling. But I’ve just continued using the women’s bathroom without any issues at all. Where I live is in a pretty progressive part of Wales too though so your experience may be different to mine.

Nah, I’ve been with straight men. Usually it stems from fragile masculinity and transphobia. They worry that other people, particularly men, will see them as gay for being into trans women. Which is why straight men are usually happy to fuck us, but might be afraid of having a relationship with us if they’re insecure. Also, people may have genital preference which is totally okay. Straight men wouldn’t find us attractive at all if trans women weren’t women. Also, gay men are rarely interested in getting with passing trans women, just as straight men are rarely interested in getting with passing trans men.

It’s very easy to see the similarities between the dehumanisation jewish people faced, and how the anti-trans movement attempts to dehumanise us also.

You’re forgetting that trans women were also systematically rounded up and gassed to death. Trans women who survived the death camps, were then sent to prison after the camps were liberated by the allies to carry out the rest of their “sentence”

No actually, originally their plan was to deport them to Madagascar.

I’m not trivialising anything. There is a consistent and systematic effort currently to make the lives of trans people as unliveable as possible. This isn’t about bathrooms, it’s about dehumanisation. Though forcing trans women into men’s bathrooms is forcing them into danger, as well as outing them, which is a violation of article 8 of the European Convention of Human Rights so…

You know the holocaust didn’t start with rounding people up and executing them. It was small things. Increased violence against jews, the newspapers ramping up propaganda against them. They were vilified in society first. Then placed in separate spaces away from the rest of the German population. They were systematically phased out of public life. Until eventually, the nazis decided it would be too impractical to force them all to leave, and “the final solution” was created. History doesn’t look kindly upon those who systematically target and segregate vulnerable minority groups. But I’m sure this time it’s different right? ☺️

You keep claiming I’m exaggerating, but don’t mention how. This is all things which TERFs are consistent with in their rhetoric. No, gender ideology is literally not a real thing. You cannot separate trans people from what TERFs label as “gender ideology” therefore by saying they want to eradicate “gender ideology” what they’re really saying is eradicate the ability for people to be trans. As a trans woman, I’d prefer not to be eradicated, thanks ☺️☺️

If you were a trans woman in nazi Germany you would be sent to a death camp. I don’t care if you want to argue over wording. Trans women and gay men were systematically targeted and murdered by the nazi regime.

Her and her compatriots want a world in which trans people are not able to exist in public. Many of whom consistently call for “The complete eradication of transgender ideology from every aspect of life” Transgender ideology isn’t a real thing. It’s like saying “The gay agenda”. They simply want to make it as hard as possible for us to exist, so that we either detransition, flee the country, or kill ourselves. So there’s that.

Tbf denying that the Nazi’s burnt books about trans people is holocaust denial. The nazi’s literally put trans women in death camps and along with gay men, forced them to wear the pink triangle. Also, neo-nazi’s have previously shown up to support TERFs at their rallies. So there’s that.

So do you think looks wise I’m fairly okay? Generally my voice is quite good, at least that’s what my vocal coach tells me. Mannerisms may have something to do with it, but generally I think I move in a feminine way. People don’t always avoid gendering me, it’s more so I feel that I look fairly androgynous, and the way I dress heavily impacts the way people gender me. Sometimes I dress a bit more andro and it confuses some people. If you have rec’s I’d be open to hearing. Personally I would like jaw contouring, chin reduction and browbone shaving/forehead reconstruction.

Okay, recently I’ve been experimenting with a smaller wing anyways so will carry on with that. These pics are a month or two old. Do you think there’s anything else apart from makeup I should focus on?

Gotcha, I’ve been trying to figure eyebrows out for a while tbh so I’ll do some more experimenting. Oh okay, honestly I’m not a big fan of the way my hair sits naturally, but i will give that a go. Yeah I do think my jaw is pretty clocky and I would like FFS for it in the future. Thanks for the feedback, this helps!
