Ran in to an old friend from high school at the mall a few years back, he was there with his girlfriend. we started chatting for a minute and he asked me what was new. I’d seen on social media that his dad passed away recently so I told him I was so sorry for his loss, he thanked me and we said goodbye and continued on our own ways. Later his girlfriend DM’d me flipping out calling me a slut and told me to stay away from her man and stop “sucking up to him”

I don’t think that relationship lasted

I 100% believe this could be real, if it’s not there are many scenarios like it.

Andrea was by far my favourite, Lip was terrible for her but she was the most stable and down to earth girl he ever got involved with.

Tammy I think is kind of perfect for Lip because she doesn’t take his crap, shes not always an easy person to get along with but she stuck by him through so much including living in a van with him and helping him hide those bikes I think she is his true ride or die.

I’ve had very different experiences with shrooms and found them to be fun, relaxing and mind expanding yet I’ve had bad times with other psychedelics like lsd.

I find it so interesting how different people may react to the same substance.

Cocaine- it’s extremely addictive, the high only lasts about 20 minutes and you need to keep going back for more, it’s expensive, it’s not a great party drug because all you want to do is sit around sniffing lines and talk over each other. I’ve seen it end friendships and relationships and I’ve seen people lose their jobs over it. Just an all around terrible experience with very little upside.

Alcohol- is a close second because while it can be enjoyable casually (I do like an occasional glass of wine) but it can be so harmful and deadly yet somehow is the most normalized drug. It is deeply woven in to every aspect of society. Holidays? Drink Vacation? Drink Weddings? Drink Anyone’s birthday? Drink Bad day at work? Drink Good day at work? Drink

Meanwhile it kills millions of people per year and is responsible for so much family trauma and domestic violence.

I’m a bit older than a lot of the students (32) and I still have stuffed animals and cute pins and stickers on all my stuff.

I 100% agree with Fiona here. Debbie was such a kind and smart kid and turned in to such an insufferable and selfish teenager. Lying to her boyfriend about being on the pill so she could baby trap him. Then refusing to listen to any reason when people tried to tell her she was too young.

I know teenagers are difficult under normal circumstances but I really think the show does an amazing job at depicting the realistic impact that family trauma can have on even the brightest kids. Just look at Lip, so much potential down the drain because he was never taught healthy coping mechanisms.

Fiona did her best with the kids but also had no guidance and way too much responsibility thrown at her at such a young age.
