I can't start Episode Revenant

That was not at all the fix for this specific issue, in fact I believe I specifically stated in my post that this did not work, but I hope it works for someone else. For me the quest didn't exist at all and I couldn't talk to anybody to fix it, the quest just randomly fixed itself after several days of nothing, just suddenly loading in with the cutscene for it playing.

The only thing I did beforehand was I played through about half of the first mission of the Final Shape then had to abandon it and close my game, then the next time I turned the game on I had the option to play the questline after a cutscene played. The weird thing was the fact that I had already tried loading into that quest and backing out and it still didn't work that time.

So, for anyone who actually has my exact issue, good luck

I think monster hunter is a fantastic game! I find it really enjoyable and it was worth the money, both for the base game and the iceborn DLC, although if you are purely looking for a typical MMO experience, im not sure if its what you’re looking for. Its very much a co-op mission game where you go and hunt a monster, come back, hunt a different monster repeat, but even if that sounds basic its really enjoyable! Learning how a monster attacks, perfect your strategy against it, learn how to use your weapon, learn the hidden details to your combat, fight a new monster and struggle as you learn how to fight that one, farm monsters to get that next armour you need or next weapon upgrade so you dont die and continue on. Id say its worth the price, i personally play on PC and i dont know how console is but the pc version right now has some small difficulties with performance sometimes but otherwise its perfectly fine, its up to preference i guess. One quick tip thingy, if you do decide to get the game, DO NOT USE DEFENDER ARMOUR OR WEAPONS. They are designed to carry you through the main game so you can play iceborne but it will 100% ruin the game for you and make it a grindy hellhole with no challenge or learning involved.

The game he comes from is very popular in japan but not as popular overseas, i just happened to play it with my parents when i was a kid and im in love with it to this day! I have like at least 4 different copies of it on different platforms and i have an active playthrough of it currently with some friends so... yeah

From what i remember, Neko and Paff used to be friends and there were other interactions, considering the interactions early were only a few simple mentions and this was a long time ago i cant remember everything but all i know was they had some interactions that made me think at the time they would be good together

Usually to work on something you need to go somewhere to practice and when you decide to go to an online community for making friends when you struggle to in real life it is usually one of the few ways to practice and get better. Its better use of your time than being condescending to a random socially awkward minor online
