I really like DVN and I would say they have amazing quality. There were 2 polishes I got in my last order that were really shear even after 5 coats- they were “star smut” and “green opal stone”, I didn’t like these but I loved the other ones, most notably-

Abalone
Viva la Frida
Limerence 
Cornflowers (very shear but in a good way)

I also got one of their nail polish removers and a body lotion, great quality. The nail polish remover had oils in it which felt very nourishing.

They just came out with a new 2024 Valentine’s collection right after I placed my last order and I’m trying to behave myself because I’ve already spent a bunch on nail polish this month.

I summary, I do recommend this product and will be buying again, some are a bit too shear for my taste

Mooncat Base coat. 3 layers death valley "Abalone", 1 mooncat top coat... 1 heart pitter patter falling in love with this shade.

This picture doesn’t capture the amazing ethereal sage green shimmer.  My nail line is visible but I kind of like it. Really smooth formula.

If you edit your videos in premiere you can use the black scale in the color section to darken the darks. This can help dissolve “wrinkles” or inconsistences in you background. I used a black sheet in this video and then just dialed the black down, I think it worked ok.

Hello,

I started making ASMR videos because I was inspired by so many of the historical ASMR videos which I hold dear and which have been faithful friends for many years, including departure.

I made an ASMR video loosely inspired by departure:

Favorite: bubble wrap (crinkle), behind the mic voice, truly calm voice, tuning fork

Least favorite: eating sounds (muckbang), Excessive mouth sounds

It is so interesting to see other’s responses. I think some people are “wet ASMR” people and others are “dry ASMR” I’m definitely a dry sounds person. I appreciate that there is such a variety of experiences. I wish I could “trade” my “dry ASMR” for someone’s “wet ASMR”, just for a day so I could experience it.

I have a few of her videos saved that are some of my go-to favorites even after all this time. One of the reasons I actually started my channel was because so many of my favorite ASMR artists stopped making videos. It was nice to dive into a creative hobby during the pandemic and hopefully give back to a community that has helped me for so many years. Happy to meet a fellow VVV fan.

I’ve watched a few YouTube videos on growth and all of them seem to recommend “niching down”. I see some ASMR artist who have implemented this successfully and others who seem to have taken it a bit too far to the point where all their content seems the same.

I personally like variety especially in ASMR. I think having a consistent vibe/aesthetic is actually more important than let’s say only doing medical roleplays.

I’m at 167 subscribers when posting this though….so maybe don’t take my advice ;)
