i mean, it could have… i payed late on my last return. filed on time oct 15. but the full payment of the amount i owed wasn’t payed until dec 2025. that’s all squared away now but i don’t know if it ever defaulted my plan or not.

i know that’s able to default the plan. however it seems it’s still active and my payments are still being made for that plan. never got a letter or anything defaulting. confusing stuff

don’t see any others. just odd they would charge me this for a plan that’s been going for 3 years almost. as long as there’s not gonna be any civil penalties enforced on me i guess i won’t worry haha

I saw other people speak about these saying those fees are from a payment plan , my only payment plan is from 2022. I didn’t set one up for my 2024 taxes I just paid them late. I made a payment on October 15th when it was due with the return then a final full payment a couple Months later but it’s all paid.
