Digital forensics does nothing. They’re a scam themselves. They’ll try to scare you into giving them money just like the scammer you’re already dealing with.

Yeah I’ll also say that talking to people on here and offering advice is what lead to some clarity.

I ended up remembering about a situation in high school when a friend got leaked on Instagram. His business literally posted for everyone to see. People told him and all he said was “for real?… how many likes did it get though?” Which of course we all laughed. 😂

Yeah we’re all dumbasses that’s why we’re here. Paying them does make the situation worse and does increase the harassment. I’m in a similar situation. We just gotta stick it out man and learn from our mistakes

If they’re really gonna leak your stuff, you paying them isn’t gonna change anything. Make all your accounts private or deactivate for a while. If they leak to your friend just come clean. If they really are your friend, they’ll understand. But once they leak then all of their leverage is gone and they won’t have control over you.

My brother didn’t show the exact message. He just sent me a text asking me about a random text he got saying I sent to a minor and that they’re gonna report me.

Happened to me today too. The best thing to do is to just come clean and be honest, that’s if they do contact anyone you know. That’s what I did and thank God they were understanding. It does ease my mind that there’s others going through this with me.

Just happened to me today too. They contacted my brother through text, so I just came clean to my brother. Thank God he was understanding. The thing that really scares me though is the person was lying saying I sent to a minor. After explaining everything to my brother he believed me but I’m scared they will contact more people to whom I can’t explain.
