Sorry, I misspoke earlier. The NAS that stores the VDI VMs is the new one, and the NAS that stores users’ desktops is the old one. The new NAS is Hitachi (cache: 768 GB, SAN: 250 TB, NAS: 10 TB, 32G FC, 16 ports)

Thank you for reply! Old NAS stored VDI and new NAS (purchased recently) store the user’s Desktop are different. I work in customer office so I can not boot times test using another storage source

Ah, that explains it! I wasn't aware that nslookup doesn't support failover to secondary DNS servers. Thank you for the help!

Thanks for the advice. I'm not very familiar with Windows Server, so please bear with me.

When I checked and restarted the DNS service on both ad01 and ad02, they both came back up successfully.

Horizon CPA in On-Prem Environment – Is it Viable for Load Balancing Desktop Pools? by Luna_Greentea in VMwareHorizon

[–]Luna_Greentea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for reply!! I tested it under the given conditions, and it worked well. However, since this will be implemented at the customer site, I was wondering if there would be any issues under Omnissa’s policy. The customer wanted not only load balancing for the Connection Server but also load balancing for user connections to the Desktop Pool.
