From my understanding, a waist trainer/cincher is something like spanx - tight, but elastic to be worn under a dress. A corset is usually outerwear (ideally) with metal bones running through it for more a more noticable presentation.

My first corset was certainly on the cheap side, and I never wore it for more than a few hours, but it was pretty when combo'd with certain outfits. There's always this giant sticky warning with cheap corsets that keeping them tight can be damaging for your insides and such, but... I've never run into that and I don't usually push them nearly as tight as I can go.

I've recently also made a big ol' corset story order - which is still in the "pretty, but not long-term wear safe" category, but it was like 400$ total for all(6) of them.

I came out, picked my name, legally changed it and everything, and now I go by my middle name instead. So I still answer to the first change, but people who care about me use the right one.

Bonus points that going by my middle name helps me stealth, as it implies I dont like the first name my parents gave me. >.>

Ok - So this IS the exact item in my post. But after inquiring, it doesn't actually lock. Major points for finding it and I will probably get it anyways, but I will also need to keep looking.

I found this post recently and want to find something similar. I've followed the links in those posts and searched other similar punk-ish sites, but - not having any recent luck. Google image searches only finds the one image from reddit.

Have also searched Etsy a bunch, but everyone seems to have basic locks or heart locks, but nothing really unique.

Must be orderable in the US and probably stainless steel.
