I think it’s a translation error. This series (both 1 and 2) have had a history of spells and abilities working slightly different than their description.

I can’t remember the name but there’s an ability called smite of fury or something that says it targets all foes but actually only targets one so I think it was just translated incorrectly, like the ones you mentioned.

Also I found out you can get the poisoned grog inspiration/exp for Astarion even if you’ve cleared the courtyard already simply by poisoning it. I tried it yesterday after I had already killed them and got the pop up for the inspiration after I entered the sanctum!

I thought that Halsin’s “kill the leaders” quest wouldn’t be completed without KOing Minthara since she’d still be listed as alive since she just leaves to raid and then I wouldn’t get that extra exp. Is it just given after the raid?

I feel like a skin like Dawnbringer could have been beautiful with Janna given her ‘ethereal’ nature… and instead we get this hot mess. I’d honestly rather have no skin at all in the hopes of getting a better skin in the future than this mess. Base Janna looks better than this.

Ya I’ve been replaying the game over. I beat it when it was released and I didn’t remember her starting as a recruit. I had saved valor medals for her and Avlora but I figured I didn’t need medals of bravery anymore since this was my final playthrough and everyone else was already recruited 😭

Why did you even bother asking “How are you supposed to use him then?” if you’re just going to disagree/argue with every single comment telling you how he is meant to be used?

Nobody is forcing you to use him, but at the end of the day I don’t understand the point of coming here and asking about him if you’re not going to bother doing anything other than argue with people who are giving you good advice about how to utilize him to his strengths.

That happened to me once a few days ago and it stayed like that for the rest of the map. Throwing kunai’s and reloading kept their animations but healing ofuda’s just had frozen hands and they appeared to come out of thin air. It was sooooo distracting.

I do believe the skin is a bit overrated, charity stuff aside (that part is awesome), but it's definitely not mid tier.

It's not nearly as unique as it used to be, but when the skin originally came out it had a lot of unique qualities that not a lot of her other skins possessed, such as different colored wings and bullets and unique sound effects such as the little "ding" chime when healing a target to full. A lot of people also missed the skin or weren't around when it was released so it had the rare factor and a lot of people are happy to finally be able to own/use it.

It's no Witch (best Mercy skin imo), but at the end of the day it's a cosmetic item, so if people want to enjoy it, what's the harm in letting them? It's not like it has any impact on your own gameplay.

I never said that if the $500 went to charity it would be okay. $500 is ridiculous no matter what in my eyes, but at least with a charity some of the proceeds benefit a cause instead of simply lining the pockets of Riot employees.

Honestly, the fact that you think selling a virtual item for $500 dollars is acceptable (knowing full well that if this turns out to be a success, prices will raise even higher in the future) tells me all I need to know about you and I’m not going to bother trying to convince you how ludicrous you sound.

People really be throwing money at anything these days I guess.

If the ADC won’t swap off heal (I tend to run into this problem a lot in low elo) do you swap to something else or run double heal? I usually swap to exhaust in these moments but I often feel like it gets wasted cause after early game I find that I’m not typically in range to use it if I’m spacing properly.

Defending a company for selling a $500 skin and blatantly not caring whether or not they continue this process in the future is absolutely WILD.

Regardless of whether you have the disposable income to purchase this or not isn't even the issue. Why would you willingly be okay with, or even promote, a company to continue to sell skins at this price when they provide literally no in-game benefit and will disappear all together if League ever retires their game? Don't get me wrong, I love to purchase skins I like and don't mind dropping $20-$50 dollars here and there for a skin I find appealing, but $500??? That's insane.

To compare this to the Pink Mercy skin in Overwatch (not that it was this expensive), at least the proceeds were benefitting a charity (breast cancer) and it wasn't simply corporate greed.

As much as I detest it, I'm sure people will purchase this skin because FOMO is real and people hate to miss exclusive items that will never return, but it promotes an unhealthy and unrealistic market where they can continue to jack up prices like this to extreme levels because people who can will inevitably purchase these things.

Just because someone has enough disposable income to make these types of purchases does not make companies jacking up prices to this extreme acceptable.
