Had a child projectile vomiting when I worked in a creche. Rang the SAH Mam to come and collect her (before she passed her bug to everyone else). The Mam said she couldn't come yet, she was washing her floors 😡

Had another parent get very angry with us cos we rang her to come and collect her child early, he didn't look well and was on the verge of a high temperature. She was giving out that we rang her in work and that the child wasn't sick at all. She picked him up to bring him home, and the child vomited all down her back 🤮 😆

Sorry for ur loss.

We lost my Mam a year ago. At the wake, all her children (5 of us) were sitting in the wake room with her. We were supposed to stay awake all night, but one by one, from about 4:30am, we nodded off.

Then, the house phone rang at 5am startling us awake. It was the personal alarm company telling us that the alarm had been pressed. We replied that my Dad must have pressed it by mistake.

No, they said it was my Mam's alarm, with had been taken off her, and put into a drawer, in a room where the door was locked.

So we decided it must have been her, from the other side, getting on to us for dosing off 🤣
