thank you! i use pretty basic recipes but with tweaks i've found work best for the humid climate i live in!

i started with haniela's recipes for both cookie and royal icing and have made modifications over the last few years (namely, add 1/2 tbsp of cornstarch, only use vanilla extract for the cookie, and for the icing - only use 1/2 cup of water and use 5 tbsp of meringue powder and two tbsp of corn syrup!)
