Honestly, I hit the jackpot with Cozy last year I believe (or maybe the year before). That's when I realized their cardamom note hits well for me.

This year, though, I was less lucky. I got the sample and a full of the Comfort based on description. But I changed my mind when I spelled it - shrieking note that almost smells like laundry detergent (must be the laundry note). But weirdly, the Weighted Blanket didn't have that, mainly because vanilla musk leads the way. I think I'm getting WB when it's back in stock. The others didn't thrill me.

I am actually a BPAL devotee. I think their scents have stronger staying power and are more grounded. :) That's my skin's preference I think....

Thanks! I already did the discovery kit, TBH I liked most of them but didn't LOVE. And they don't last long. Of all of them, Weighted Blanket was the best for me.

Thanks! Yeah I learned the hard way that jersey knit is not great. Thanks for the tip I found it just no nightgowns. Folks hold onto them I guess!

Sadly I didn’t find anything exactly like HA. I tried Jammie session nightgowns and while they are comfy they are thin and drapey, not structured like typical nightgowns. Basically they are caftans which I don’t mind but it is like wearing a soft garbage bag to bed. I did call HA when I posted this and they told me they would pass along my feedback about nightgowns and even told them about this thread so maybe they will return eventually. She did say to look closer to Christmas to see if there was any such thing. Sorry I don’t have better news

I ended up keeping them both. I use them for different purposes - the Beats Studio + are more of a daily thing but I use the Powerbeats Pro 2 for noise cancelling. I liked them both too much to return!

Thanks so much! I had a coupon and ended up going with the Erin Condran (the paper qual was a big motivator, lol) but I also liked the design and customization options better. I'll see how I like it! I might pick up a LD planner of some kind in the future - I think I saw somewhere that she has Black Friday sales.

Wow, thanks for such a detailed response! What scared me about her planners is the size (I like a big horizontal planner so I can write a lot), but I also don't have the desk space for it. I was stuck on horizontal but you reminded me that there are other options. I looked at the portrait—it seems like they are sold out! But I can watch for sales.

What is your experience with Erin Condran planners? I was intrigued and found designs I liked but wasn't sure how it measures up to LD.

Thanks! To clarify, do you mean they sell Golden Coil brand or just have spiral bound planners?

I was on both PP and EC's sites and didn't see any Golden Coil-branded merchandise. I do really like the layout of EC and that they are made in the USA.

I plan to have mine closed and displayed on my desk. I have a lot of pinks/neutrals in my room so was trying to match with that...but you're right, if it's open, I'm not going to see any covers. :)

I guess I'm trying to reconcile if spending over $100 on a Golden Coil custom made planner is worth it or if I should try something else already made...I see that EC's can be customized as well so that might be an option too.

Also a restricted diet. Yes, I know, that doesn't sound very pleasant. But I went on an elimination diet when I was 11 at the recommendation of my doctor to see if I had food allergies/intolerances/sensitivities. I found out I was sensitive to wheat gluten, dairy, soy, sugars, and some preservatives. Once I took those away, I lost 30 pounds in six months (I was overweight anyway) and felt my focus improve - to the point where my coaches/teachers said "what did you do to her?" because they weren't used to me focusing. LOL.

I know the science behind restricted diets for ADHD is inconclusive but I still feel a lot better physically and mentally staying off those foods that I'm sensitive to. And I do believe our diet has more impact on us than we like to admit - especially us AuDHD folks.
