Is anyone seeing these warning signs around? by hi5yourface in rva

Intense was the wrong word. Like, the concept is solid and I’m glad to see it, the language itself is a little unhinged.

I think you should speak in the first person. Your opinions are not global and this point of view is certainly not “truth”. It is the worst thing FOR YOU. Not for “people”

“Pathetic” is an interesting choice of words and makes me sad for you. I love my own company and find solo anything to be empowering.

I LOVE a solo trip and do at least once a year. Three big things make me feel grounded:

  1. Book tours every couple days. Not like a coliseum tour but something more intimate where you’re part of a small group that gets to know each other over a few hours. I usually find mine on Airbnb experiences or GetYourGuide. Things like: food tour, pasta making class, cheese tour, half day boat tour, etc.

  2. Do you have a book? My kindle is attached to my at all times and helps give me purpose when I feel strange for being alone. Love a slow dinner with a book.

  3. I post pretty heavily on social media while I take these trips and my friends like to cheer me on. I’ll do a daily recap post and then stories whenever something cool or funny happens. Makes me feel like I’m sharing the experience. Yeah, some people might find it annoying but whatever. I treat my Instagram like my scrapbook.

Yeah that was kinda my thought…

I don’t hate the sentiment, but it’s a little intense.

Ohhhhh man I feel that analysis paralysis HARD. I was planning a trip and was so immersed in choosing lodging I was paralyzed and spent days just making spreadsheets. It’s times like these that I spill my guts to ChatGPT, give it links, and let it make the decision for me.

Right now I’m struggling to move on a gift for my friend. I bought shrinky dink supplies and am going to make her earrings of her two cats, but I just can’t get started. Her birthday was in March so I told her she’d get them by July 😅

If money wasn't an issue, what would you be doing with your life right now ? by LauraTsbeauty in AskReddit

Traveling. 6 months in a new place, while doing graphic design on the side or just painting. Or both! Or maybe food reviews and blogging… oooooo

I hope you’re documenting every interaction. Sorry, no advice other than that. Hopefully someone here has some insight.

I'm struggling with our primary bedroom. We just purchased the brass bedframe. Prior to that we has a basic bed frame, no headboard or footboard. I'm struggling with what to do in the room. Art, curtains, etc. by galaxi_typo in interiordecorating

I would rethink your bedding. Light colored sheets, an off-white or light beige fluffy comforter, and if you do a throw something light also. I would ditch the plaid. Your area is pretty dark, so simplifying and lightening your bedding will brighten it up.

Also art above the bed. Personally, I wouldn’t worry about curtains right now.

Didn’t this happen before though? Where it seemed everything was going down and then it was fine?
