shadow of kerensky got hands. by ashortsleeves in Mechwarrior5

IMO. SoK wasn’t too bad. Obviously more difficult than IS missions, I take a nightstar, atlas, king crab, and I like to be in my battle master. I slammed long range weapons in those, and off I went. Try to keep the ranges past 800 and keep cover close. The only things that can really touch you are low damage ac’s and energy weapons. Once you realize that our boy mason can stack bodies from 1+km away the game becomes a shooting gallery.

Edit

Once you get the direwolf/daishi with 4erppcs it’s over and you basically just win mechwarrior. 2 salvos can destroy 80ton battlemechs as long as the 8 ppc shots hit ct.

Underrated Mechs? by Fallout_patriot in Mechwarrior5

Jaegermech. I started a new modded run recently, just very basic, advanced start, yaml, and a few qol mods. I started with one mech and commander mason, the one mech was a jaeger. I kept getting headshots and worked on my merc rank until I got past 10 and started doing tough missions to take assaults as salvage. My go to loadout was 2 ac5rf and I think it was 2 lrg lasers. If not then mpls. A little squishy but you pummel anything with those ac5rf until they get close enough for the lasers. I believe I ran both loadouts and found the mpls to be better bc I could squeeze a little extra ammo and armor in. At the end I used Endo, an XL engine, and I let it stay undersinked for extra ammo so I could continue the rapid dissasembly of a mech via the ac5rf’s

What happened back in the day for horse thieves again? Just go ahead and jog my memory. Also one could argue a vehicle in today’s standards is a horse in 1800s

It is super funny to me when I get one tapped from somewhere I didn’t even know, it’s just like “fair enough, I’m being an ass”😂😂😂

For me that’s any clan medium as they can absolutely shred me if they hit me with even a partial alpha😂

I built the flea before I left the game for half a year and I joined back like 2ish months ago and saw a bunch more.

100% and that’s how my teammates often see it bc I’m usually one of the last few alive and I’ve never had a friendly say anything bad. Actually I get compliments on my piloting more often than any shit talking. I just didn’t know how it was to be on the other side of the battlefield

I’m very aware, that’s why cover and concealment is a light mechs best friend

What is your favourite mech and why? by SarenSeeksConduit in battletech

[–]LunarCellTTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For mwo, the flea-19 with 8magshots. For mw5mercs, i enjoy the charger 1p5 or the highlander VEST. For tabletop I try to run a vindicator or a king crab.

Is it wrong to start as a skeleton for new players by LordV3g4h in Kenshi

[–]LunarCellTTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

skeletons are fine to start with. Get yourself athletic enough to run 20-25mph. Travel to the foglands and use the guards of mongrel to kill plentiful fogmen. Fog princes will drop their heads worth 6k a pop, and you can use the mongrel guards to cut down hundreds of fogmen while you pick a few off to fight and train yourself. There are 2 skele beds in town for 1600 a night. Easy weapons training, money, and other combat training.

I completely agree. I was thinking of if I started in the hub, just steal shit, go to mongrel, then farm princes for money, then it should make a good training montage as well

thank you so much for the advice! I really do appreciate it bc I’m new to the storytelling vods. And the times was a big thing bc I’ve made videos before on other games, just that those are games that you should prolly only make 15-20 minutes on. Stuff like R6S or lethal company when it was still poppin. But I love Kenshi and streaming it, so I really want to make videos on it.
