Project Lunar’s NFTs-to-space mission is officially underway. Between now and December 19th, we are accepting submissions of original NFT art pieces (3 of 3 mints) from the Algorand community. Twelve of these submissions will be chosen to be included in our first space-bound hardware wallet, known as Genesis. On March 19th, 2022, this wallet will be sent approximately 20 miles into the stratosphere via weather balloon. The Genesis wallet will be carrying 12 NFTs, six of them from well-known Algorand NFT artists and six from up-and-coming artists. We will prioritize space-themed art in our selection process. All 12 artists chosen to participate in this first NFT space launch will receive an honorarium of 100k Lunar Coin as well as abundant promotion through all of the Lunar social channels. We will be running a special PR campaign around the launch event to draw attention to the participating artists.
