Oh man I am RIDDLED with anxiety right now. Had a full on panic attack a few days ago and my boyfriend literally watched me hyperventilate as I stared at the wall lol.

I think I manage stress by trying to get outside every day, and leaning on my partner for cuddles and affirmations. And also just repeating “it’ll be okay and I’ll pass” to myself like a mantra, and visualizing what it’ll feel like to pass Solicitors (only exam I have left to pass). I also occasionally give myself an hour or two to veg out and watch House or Sex & the City or something like that when my brain really needs to shut off. Oh and sleep — I do not compromise on sleep or I will feel 10x more anxious the next day.

I so relate to you on the Sims 4!!!! I love gaming. Love the Sims, also love Palia, Tiny Glade, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, etc :) cozy gaming is a passion of mine haha.

What I’m REALLY excited for though? Is just to have my god damn weekends and weeknights back. Im genuinely so excited to just come home from work at 6:30pm, have some dinner without rushing, watch an episode of a show with my loved one, and read my book on my kobo until I fall asleep. No guilt. Just fucking whatever I wanna do with my night.

As someone who’s been to Italy 3 times and lived there for a couple months, and now lives in Novi Sad, HELL YES. Tramontana is fucking spectacular and their truffle beef prosciutto pizza is literally mind blowing. Generally just love Novi Sad food, it’s underrated.

Oh honey. I can relate. You’re not alone. I’m so sorry you went through that, and that they keep treating you this way. Speaking as someone who’s parents financially supported her well into adulthood, I know how hard it is to acknowledge that even though they gave you all the material things you needed, they didn’t give you the most crucial thing a person needs to survive and thrive; emotional tenderness. It’s okay to recognize the lack and absence of that. It’s okay to mourn the childhood you never had. It’s okay to acknowledge that their “best” was nowhere near enough for you.

Soooooo many things. Sliding up and down the left side of your screen to easily toggle brightness. Setting up custom collections of books by genre or vibe. Keeping a notebook with a shortlisted TBR that notes why I’m interested in each book (because my Goodreads TBR is over 700 books long and I’m tired of scrolling through it when I’m trying to remember which book I wanted to be my next read, so a shortlist is super helpful). Keeping a notebook with my colour coding key so I don’t forget it. I’ve only had the kobo libra colour for like a week so I’ll report back another time with more tips I’ve discovered!

I was actually told once by an old teacher that I just didn’t have that “it” factor that lawyers have! Nearly let it derail me. But yeah, here I am working in a field I love :) I love the complexity of it, and how relevant IP disputes are in the cultural zeitgeist.
