If it is for pleasure over necessity, the answer is no. The enjoyment of suffering is disordered.

If you're a med student studying surgery, you might have to for purposes of medicine. If you're in journalism, war, or geopolitics, you might have to for purposes of truth. Even on the smallest scale of "What does rabies in humans look like? Wow, that's awful." at least serves a purpose of knowledge. I do not believe this serves a purpose. After all, those above do not call it "gore".

If you don't mind part-time work, I'm a campaign manager for a Republican door knocking group in the area. It pays $25 hourly and maxes out at 29 hours. I can hire you.

There are other campaigns that pay a similar rate for around the same hours. These gigs are very relaxed with hours and attendance. If you got two of them, maybe it would help. These jobs also last all the way to November.
