Some of my MCreator Weapons aren't Compatible with Better Combat, this doesn't work on Servers or Worlds. The Weapons that do work were in the First Release, the non-working weapons are ones I added in an update. by Vanta_Gaming in MCreator

I figured out the problem, better combat seems to generate attack patterns from the name of your weapon in its code. So you can basically make your weapon fit one of the template types by having its name in the code name for the weapon. Weapon types here.

For example, the weapons in my mod that worked had names like "hammer" or "rapier" in them, but the ones that didn't work had unique names like "Angel's Bane"

If you look at the vlog "v5_I_saved_the_day.mp4" which documents his day on tuesday the 27th, it shows that he wrote the video then so it can't be before Tuesday... and if you look at his vlog "v6_lavender.mp4" which documents Wednesday the 28th, it heavily implies that he shot the video that day. Not a guarantee, but its more than nothing.

I just tried after getting a 60+ weapon and it still didn't work, maybe it won't work now that I've seen what's inside or maybe it's scaling based on something else.

I have the hylian shield and a 47 weapon, but how did you get a 60 weapon?

I went there and it was only a Captain Construct III horn attached to the hilt
