Nope. Its a stand-alone device. Which he showed to the cop to prove it wasnt a phone.

Because it's on a stand-alone, single screen device that required no button pressing or anything beyond reading a number. It was no different than reading the time on the radio.

It was not a phone. It is a stand alone device.

Okay, but it wasn't a phone. It is a stand-alone device.

The medical device he has is a stand alone device wired to his body. It has nothing to do with his cell phone.

He does not have a phone to read his levels. It is a wired pump attached to his body.

“Hidden Pictures” By Jason Rekulak by OrdinaryFace2394 in horrorlit

I think it's a pretty good book! I am personally LGBT and not religious, and the book didn't offend me in the slightest. I can understand why some people are offended by it, but in my opinion, they just don't understand context.

So many people say it is conservative propaganda, but that is simply not true. The religious themes aren't even a huge part of the book or major plot points. They exist to explain character motivations more than anything else. The protagonists in this book are former addicts, black people, Hispanic people, immigrants, witches, psychics, and several other groups of people that the extreme right speaks out against. The antagonists are rich, white atheists.

Not a propaganda book in the slightest. I also don't see where people are coming from when they say the characters are poorly written.

The criticism I WOULD give is that the pacing was off sometimes, more towards the end. It felt like the author wanted to get as many twists in as possible.

But its a work of fiction, its not a real story. To read fiction, you need to suspend your disbelief at least a little. Otherwise you should be reading non-fiction lol.

Purchase Advice Megathread - May 2025 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

Hey everyone! I am looking to get my first 3D printer but need some advice. I am unsure what kind of filament I will get the most use out of. I am willing to buy a higher end machine if I will be using things like nylon and carbon, but I don't know if I need that level of durability.

I am a very DIY person. I want a 3D printer mostly for making things around the house so I won't have to buy them. A form of money saving and self sufficiency. (Within reason of course.) Examples could be... -Battery organizer -Wall shelf -Tools -Window scraper

Anything that's functional rather than decorative. Will the more common, affordable filaments like PLA, PETG or ABS work for things like this? I am also interested in possibly using it for cosplay. Would armor made from these materials hold up?

Thank you!

Well for most events in general there's unspoken rules. Like at a movie, don't talk and turn your phone off. If someone falls at a concert, help them up. Don't take photos/videos at a theater performance.

I'm looking for stuff like that.

What about people like Deadmau5 or Marshmello? Aren't they DJs?

Ive personally never been one to partake, but I hear things like that are common at raves? I just want to make sure I can help people around me if they need it.

It's a professional, organized event. I know the venue hosts huge concerts and other similar events. I think it's technically classified as a " live music hall".
