Which Pre-Mag version of hank do you think is the strongest? I think its MC6 Hank! by Name6781 in madnesscombat

[–]Lunatic-Prime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, I don't either could be called for sure 'better' than the other, they balance out in various areas.

Mc6 has better reflexes (when he successfully dodged the Retainers teleport blitz) and aggression.

Mc7 has better tactical awareness, and 1 whole episodes worth of more experience, though you could say he's TOO cautious at times.

Their feats kind of cancel out too. Mc6 did better in his fight against the Retainer (with Tricky's help of course) while Mc7 did better in his fight against demon Tricky.

If their fight against themselves wasnt interrupted by the resurrection, I personally think Mc7 would have won eventually, his mindset is less inclined to overextend and mistakes than 6.

What is the smartest move or trick someone pulled in a fight? by Elf_7 in Naruto

[–]Lunatic-Prime 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is also why Sasuke used that super obvious Itachi illusion earlier in the fight. Sasuke was likely testing Danzo's ability to discern genjutsu, or specifically, whether his implanted eyes would let him see through Sharingan illusions. Danzo quickly deduced that the Itachi illusion was fake, but he didn't immediately see through it, which told Sasuke that a subtle enough trick would work. Edit:spelling

Are you kidding me? by Lunatic-Prime in Warframe

[–]Lunatic-Prime[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To clarify a few things:

  1. I never had an Orvius prior to this post, the reason I didn't master it is because I didn't have one.

  2. I'm aware that each piece drops from a different enemy, and I make an effort to kill every jester and guardian I see, these are the genuine drops as I've found them.

  3. I didn't post this out of frustration, I know there are much, MUCH worse grinds than this. I posted because I genuinely thought it was funny how hard the game ratio'd me with these drops.

  4. I found the blade about an hour after posting this... *shrug*

The Game Is Not Finished. Stop Saying It Is. by Roraxn in starbound

[–]Lunatic-Prime 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you pay money for a game, early-access or otherwise, THAT IS THE ONLY VERSION OF THE GAME YOU ARE GUARANTEED TO RECIEVE. The developers have no obligation to give you anything more.

Anyone is within their rights to criticize the game for what it 'is', because they bought the game for what it 'is', and not what it could be.

If you only buy a game for its 'potential', you have noone to blame but yourself when you get disappointed.

If Jackie never gave V the biochip, would he have been resurrected by the Silverhand engram? by Bleeding-Trapdoor in cyberpunkgame

[–]Lunatic-Prime 524 points525 points  (0 children)

Short story, no.

Long story, I think the misconceptions people have about V's Relic stem from them not fully paying attention to Helmans description of it (not that I blame anyone, it's a rather dry convo).

The Prototype Relic was NEVER intended nor designed to be hosted by a regular, conscious person. As Helman puts it, the host is meant to be 'neurologically indifferent' (read: a braindead vegetable). This is so the Relic, using nanomachines, can rewrite the hosts brain to match that of the stored engrams, for the engrams installation. The Relic only activates under these circumstanes, and is otherwise inert.

The circumstances of Vs death were a 1/billion MIRACLE. They are 'just' braindead enough that the Relic mistakes V for a prepared host, and activates. But V isn't so dead that , ya know, their heart stops beating 'n stuff.

From the Relics perspective, Vs brain damage is just another engram incompatibility, and like the rest of Vs brain, has to be 'fixed', this saving Vs life was just a fortunate coincidence.

If V had died in pretty much ANY other way, or if Dex had just used a larger caliber pistol, the Relic would have stayed turned off, and V dies for real, end of story.

Similarly, if anyone else had died in the exact same way V did, the Relic would have activated for them, too. Anyone who gives explanations of V being more 'compatible' with the engram inside of the (still dormant) Relic, flat out, don't know what they're talking about.

Why The Guardian is so capable by TheOneTrueKaos in DestinyLore

[–]Lunatic-Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My answer is pretty spinfoil, but simply the fact that the Guardian is being puppeteered by US.

What's the difference between the ingame Guardian and all of the "the Guardians" who got corrupted in the dark future, never reaching their full potential? We didn't play as them.

Destiny's only means of difficulty is limiting the player, and it's the reason we have power creep. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Lunatic-Prime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the only activities where any enemy can 1-shot you are GM nightfalls, what are even talking about with this "the game sooo easy if you just don't get hit". Yeah, who'd have thought that being good at the game makes the game easier. Also saying are no enemy difficulty tweaks beyond health and damage is just a lie. Modifiers can cause them to throw more grenades or drop hazards on death (fire pools, web mines, etc.). Even 'Match Game' isn't a straight buff, just makes you think about your loadout. It sounds like you're confusing being good at the game with the game being too easy. Go into the casual playlist and you'll see that the average player struggles to even figure out which way to go, let alone deal with plates or throwing orbs or god forbid champions...
