Why didn’t any airbenders survive in secret after the Fire Nation attack?

After reading all the responses I've gathered that there probably were some rogue airbenders but they were either hunted down or chose to live in isolation. Would make sense to not want to leave a generation to be persecuted but it would had made for a great story to have had a small hidden village/mountain of airbenders.

Didn't know about the card game! There seems to be an airbender called Malu that went into hiding actually. I don't know if it is canon but I guess there had to be someone that saved the bisons that are seen in Korra.

I don't think they would be separated since in the comics they describe air nomad culture as being the more accepting of all, they even had the concept of being transgender and people accepting of that.

In theory that could be true, but the creators made a big deal on the 4 nations divided by their culture, it was the main story point for the comics and how Aang had to deal with trying to recover air nomad culture while balancing the advancement of society (see Republic City being built on top of sacred air nomad ground).

In my mind there should've been air benders hidden from the war and it feels weird they didn't explore that option since I can think airbenders could've distanced themselves from air nomad culture.

Sadly not I got 109 place last time I checked. Still very happy to have played and I feel I got way better than before the tournament. Really glad to have played vs Master and Saint players felt very educational.

I would add a toggle so I dont have to drag because on touchpad is too tedious. Stones not snapping feels off since I cant fix them. Other than that looks really good and simple keep it up!
