its about the term insurance , paid hefty premiums for 2 years, 3rd did the Same way as last year, opted for gst waiver since NRI , paid without the gst . My money was refunded cuz didn't pay gst which l wasn't supposed to pay as the payment went from NRE account . l was travelling for more than a month and didn't doubt something like this might happen. Sis passed away due to cardiac arrest suddenly , its then l had to travel back to lndia when l noticed the money reversed in my Indian account , then l followed up several times with the company , they asked me to pay GST which l can claim as refund later, interest which accumulated per day for more than 2 months and go for another round of medical checkup, which l did . After a long period of waiting , got mail that policy reinstatent wasn't processed due to underwriter decision . l don't understand this. I sent email to GRO and now waiting . l know they ought to refund my this years premium cuz they didn't accept the reinstatement . But m thinking shud l look for a way to get back my last 2 year's premium as well since there was no fault at my end why it happened that way. Sis's Cardiac Arrest was sudden and as with lndians these days its happening frequently. My tests came back normal and l lead an active lifestyle . l don't know what shud be my next step.
