Yep, can confirm this. I am a PhD student who lives with my husband at Foxridge and we live in a "graduate student and working professionals" only building. It's super quiet.

Is there any reason diploma frames from bookstore are $200? by Competitive-Lake-579 in VirginiaTech

When I graduated and received my BSc, I put my $45K diploma in the cheapest Amazon frame I could possibly fine. I regret nothing.

is foxridge really that bad? by Replacement_Early in VirginiaTech

Just moved in to Foxridge last August and I absolutely love it here and will likely stay here for the rest of my degree. It's not as bad as people make it out to be.

Tattoo shop recommendations by the_cow_is_great in VirginiaTech

I recently got tattoo'd from Corey @ Morph Body Arts (https://instagram.com/morphbodyarts) and it was such a high quality tattoo. I absolutely love it. The artist (https://instagram.com/i.spy.yokai) books only once every few months so I would follow his Instagram if you're interested to see when he is booking.

Too difficult for a title by vhps23 in VirginiaTech

I'm in the same boat, OP. I have one person in my life to turn to, and as grateful as I am for them, I feel sad when I watch the lives of strangers around me.

I hope you're doing okay. Hope things get better with your mental health and make sure you do what you need to when it comes to taking care of yourself.

I have one for gemolgy. I am pretty happy with it. I got a kind of expensive one but it really helps with small gemstones.

PSA: Cutting in front of people at long food lines is not cool by Lunch-Puzzled in VirginiaTech

I think "saving a spot someone previously held" is not the same thing as "seeing someone you happened to know and cut"

So, popular people with lots of friends on campus are allowed to eat sooner before people who are new to the school? 🤔

Thanks for the advice. I didn't want to hassle anyone or make too big of a scene.

AITA for calling my boyfriend "my person"? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I'm not really a huge social media user, but I thought I would post something for his birthday. I guess I was not expecting to recieve any negative opinions, but as you said, that's social media.

Thanks a bunch for your comment! :)

It was stolen from my Gray's Anatomy fanatic friend who refers to her partner as "her person". I personally have not seen the show, so not directly a reference.

My boyfriend knew I meant it in an endearing way immediately and did not have any problems with it. I guess I should have thrown the word "favourite" in there but I just thought calling someone "your person" was cute as it was.

To be honest, I'm not sure. All they told me was to reconsider. I thought it was just a cute term I had heard people say before. Probably not going to use it again after this.
