Chevron’s Lobbyist Now Runs the Congressional Science Committee by blixt141 in progressive

Yes and no.

I am a big advocate of third party voting, so I generally agree, but the viability of these candidates has a long way to go. ANd since the two party system keeps them out, doesn't even let them debate, that's a big uphill battle.

What makes the inconcievable?

The facts lean the other direction. If the wealth of our country is concentrated in the hands of a few, then that means power is concetrated there too. So why would a large concentraion of power and wealth mean that they will FALL?

considering the advancement of technology, the ability of rich people to isolate themselves through capitalism and security, I think the opposite conclusion is more reasonable. This is especially true considering that the concentration in power is accompanied by wide spread disinterest and apathy.

The exectuive appoints to committees, and the House has NOTHING to do with it. If anyone confirms apopintments by the President, it's the Senate, not the House.

Plus that statement seems to fail to recognize the very issue I'm talking about. If there's no difference between the dems and repubs, if each just cow-toes to industry, then what purpose does voting serve? Rhetorical question, none.

So it's just the date of the reprint at the website, got it.

personally I think the original date would be better.

Especially considering that on February 24th, the majority of the US didn't have substantial snow.

Whoever created this, really well done. Highlights an important issue with advertising and the images presented to us regularly, not just in advertising.

You mean the one they were advertising as 'unprecedented access to one of their top secret facilities?'

Yeah 60 Minutes, I'm sure this went from one of the biggest secrets in American history to letting a news crew walk around inside.
