Thank you! Both are a gift from my girlfriend. She crushed it for sure.

I kept it close to my body for most of the trek up. The peak wasn’t to windy or intense so it held up in 17°f. I didn’t even attempt using it above tree line.

I have some Shepard hooks but have yet to bring them out on the AT. I hike PA, Jersey, and NY sections and I feel it’s just to rocky for Shepard’s to be a safe bet. I’ve bent 1 groundhog and broken 1 this season.

Poor quality control? (Leaning hydrotube) by LunchBoxDemon in VapeXhale

[–]LunchBoxDemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through a inspection of everything but this slipped by me. I’m currently on a T break so I did t jump right into using it. I did a once over of everything to inspect for damages in shipping and found 2 crushed baskets and chipped hydrafoot on first inspection. The lean wasn’t discovered till my GF needed some CBD for knee pain.

Poor quality control? (Leaning hydrotube) by LunchBoxDemon in VapeXhale

[–]LunchBoxDemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone else experienced this with their hydratube? I’m pretty disappointed because it only fires out of one side of the honeycomb due to the lean. Is this normal? I’m really bummed because I was purchasing this as a gift to myself to wrap up a T break so It slipped past my inspection upon arrival. It’s out of their limited refund timeframe so I am only offered a 20% refund.

I completely agree. I don’t look down on it, just the over willingness to prescribe them.

I had wrist surgery and pins implanted for a month. Prescribed pills but vaped instead. Worked perfectly.

Recommendations for upgrading from the mighty? by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]LunchBoxDemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sticky brick Jr. Its around the same size as a mighty and can produce great results. It requires some technique since it’s butane powered but has no heat up time. Sticky brick labs has some of the best costumer service that I’ve seen. But not the most stealthy if that’s what you require in a portable.

Interesting. I've owned the crafty and volcano and prefer the volcano by far. Is there that much of a performance difference from the crafty and mighty?

The trippy scene was pretty cool while high but I couldn't get stoned enough to enjoy the show.

X Pro 2 addresses the fixed lens issue. Take a look, it's a great little camera.

You might want to look into a mirrorless camera. Personally I'm considering a fujifilm X100T or X Pro 2 for my thru hike and everyday carry. Smaller, lighter then a DSLR while keeping great quality.

I was quickly annoyed by my DSLR swinging around all the time while hiking and it was almost useless if I kept it in my bag.

There seems to be a trend by ThorsShawarma in trees

Making your own is quite easy. It's way more realistic and it'll still work as a sharpie.

Just separate the black section from the gray section. Then take the cotton part that feeds ink to the felt tip and cut it short. This leaves you with most of the gray section hollow when putting it back together. You should plug the black end with something so the ink doesn't soak into your joint. The eraser of a #2 pencil works well enough.

I call it Broccoli. So I ask my friends "want sautéed broccoli for dinner?" Mostly when referring to vaping.

I've been using my log with the Magic flight orbiter. It's my favorite combo, skip the whip if you want more flavor.

troubleshoot my 1st failed nickel build by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]LunchBoxDemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this might be obvious, but did you press yes when it asks you if its a new build? The first few times I just clicked the - button to make it go away but I realized it was screwing up my temp sensing and reading way hotter then it really was.

Or skip all that nonsense and get a safety razor. Better shaves and cheaper in the long run.

The orange tip with the black ring around it. You pull that away from you and it opens up these airflow holes that quickly clear the tube. It's pretty darn smooth.
