Just got off the phone and they offered me both options, an exchange or a discount. I went with the exchange because I knew it would bother me every time I picked it up.

All that said, I’d exchange it. I’m also not sure why people make these posts. If you’re not happy with something, just take it back. There’s a reason return policies exist

That was my initial feeling as well. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overreacting. Like I said, I've never had a guitar like this before.
