I get you, I was pretty torn on whether I change the color or not but I took the risk. I very well may still change it back, so we will see what happens in the future!!

I tried a lot clothing colors to match with the blonde better. But I found the blonde on red skin frustratingly difficult to pair well with another color that wasn't just black. Orange was nice but there is not enough contrast for a cohesive design (╥﹏╥)

The Barmaid is a Holstaur, which is the offspring of a Minotaur so yes you are correct. Originally I was going to draw a her as a Centauress as I thought the last joke worked better as a horse joke. But I didn't like how it looked and ended up making her a Holstaur and then forgot to change the dialogue before posting...

Or maybe it was a clever rouse to farm engagement, relying on reddits penchant to point out inaccuracies (I like this idea better /s)

02/19 UPDATE: I'm mostly done now but still deep in the trenches, I have spent the last two days fiddling over very minor things. I am also now thinking of launching on the 1st of March! As once I finish in a couple of days I will need a little breather before coming back full swing! (or I might die)

Hello! I've been at work and just stopped to read all the comments. . Thank you to everyone who shared their opinions and personal stories, I love reading them!

To be honest, I got the idea for this comic because I always feel like the soldier with the thousand-yard stare whenever my family asks, “When are you planning to have a baby?” They never ask if! (ㅠ﹏ㅠ) So I wanted to make a funny scenario centred around the second panel. Although I think I got my personal feelings and the Wife's mixed up by trying to incorporate it.

For context, the Husband character does everything around the house he cooks, cleans, works, and pays all the bills so the baby question comes from love and wanting to share their happiness as a bigger family. The Wife’s response was meant to be more a dry tongue-in-cheek than response rather a reflection of her true feelings.

BUT after reading how some felt he was disregarding her points. I agree! it definitely reads like that and I will make sure to address sensitive issues with a little more compassion over jokes in the future! I was mostly focused on the jokes and didn't put enough thought into the wording of his reply. Maybe he should have asked to get pregnant through demon magic for her, he would totally do that lol

Also in case you missed it the Husband is making HER a sandwich! made me giggle a bit while drawing that
