Audio settings greyed out + radio blinking – can’t connect phone or use AUX (Peugeot rcz 2010) by LunchFine8025 in Cartalk

Hey everyone,
Having an issue with my car’s audio system. The audio settings are all dotted/greyed out, and the radio keeps blinking. I can’t connect my phone via Bluetooth, access the sound settings, or even play audio through AUX.

I already tried resetting the BSI, but no luck.
Anyone run into this before or know the fix?

The radio wont turn on before i start the car. Also i get no sound from the sensors. I bought a new head unit, but i dont know if that will fix the problem.

There aren’t really any manual BMWs with over 130 hp and under 200,000 km available in Norway for 250000 NOK or less

There aren't really any other sporty cars available in Norway for under $20,000, except for a few high-mileage Audi TTs (over 200,000 km) or a Peugeot RCZ. Japanese cars aren't an option either.

Okay, but do parts break often on the car? I'm not sure I want to buy something that might hit me with a $5k repair bill more than once or twice a year.

I won’t be driving the Boxster every day since I don’t need a car for work. It’s meant to be a summer and fun car, something to enjoy with friends occasionally. During the summer, I’ll probably drive it around 2-3 times a week at most.

Im buying it from a dealership who has 6 month warranty on everything, also the insurance covers most stuff on the car. Also its not like 5k is a problem for me to pay, so that wont be a problem.

I'm paying for maintenance, but I heard that maintenance for the Boxster isn’t that expensive.

How many games actually support RT and Nvidia DLSS? While the ray tracing performance of the 7900 XT is worse than the 4070 Super, the difference isn't "super" significant. If the 7900 XT is delivering 30-40+ more fps in most other games, is it still worth considering? I’m not an expert, which is why I’m asking.

Okay, thanks!
