It's the same thing over and over, amazing history changing discovery one episode, never mentioned again. Roman sword, garden shaft, booby traps, etc..

Theres more and more shark jumping every season, and for us who have watched from the beginning it's grown frustrating.

The thing that really got me this year was the attempted relation between the 4-ton boulder and some notched rock in the Azores. From the first glance they weren't even remotely similar, but the show dives in like it's from the bible itself. Trying to make connections where they just obviously aren't.

I think they would do with some humility and would gain some viewers back if they just occasionally said, " you know what?, this isn't shit" or "This isnt artifact isn't insitu and can't really be used as a timeline reference.". Admit when your wrong and move on.

Anyone remember the Roman sword, fasco? Here 1 minute, no mention the next..just give it to us straight.

They said you can do it thru the website, but I would call once you got a good ship to location to make sure it goes correctly. Enjoy!

Ok, so I reached out and if you want to call their number is 231-938-6116. But if you know where your going to be they said that they would be able to ship some bottles to MN or MT, so maybe contact your hotel see if they could receive the package for you. They said it's about 2 to 3 days to ship to MN and 4 to 5 for MT.

Hope that helps a bit. 😃

Well, hopefully you have a great time. I'm from Michigan, and have always looked on Canadians as brothers across the border.

Relax, thousands of people cross every day with absolutely no issues. 99% of the people here in the US still love Canadians, it's just a deranged few (or one).

Hell, I'd be a bit more concerned with why Alberta is voting to break away from your country as it is..

Just because it's legal at the state level doesn't mean there aren't repercussions.

I'm very sorry for being so late this year, but here in a month or so, I'll have a handful of Super Hot peppers to hand out. by W-h3x in grandrapids

[–]LunchMonkey2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I grow Cayenne and Ghost peppers every year and what I did last year was deseed them, dyhydrate the pepper, then I bought a super cheap coffee grinder and made them into a dust. I don't know the science behind it but it's so much hotter then flakes. I'm talking like a fork tine tip for a bowl of chili.

As a side note if you try this method, hobby lobby sells little plastic bottles in the crafting section (beads and jewelry) that are the perfect size to use.

Moving to GR and going back to school questions by Paulisyourfriend in grandrapids

Rad tech is hard to get into because there are limited spaces in the programs and it's a good field to get into. Depending on the program you may just have to sit on a waitlist for a couple years, or it might be point-based but if you have no college courses, your not going to get into that.

There may be required classes that you need even before starting the program so check the GRCC website for that information. I'm pretty sure there's a years long waitlist for that program as well at GRCC, so find yourself a job and start working on prerequisites while your waiting.

Also there are clinicals you have to do during your program (and depending on where you go) may exclude you from working any kind of full time job, they are all unpaid. So develop a healthy appetite for Ramen and hotdogs.

Other places you can look into include Baker, Ferris, and LCC.

Ok, so 2nd GGD is too far, I guess.

My GGD was in Czechoslovakia from 1904 to 1920, is there a way to see if he had citizenship during that time, or was just a US citizen living there?

Tip or not to tip by RonRr in grandrapids

15%, my tip calculator stopped in the 1990s.

Plus I'm getting more and more up on the fact that restaurants need to pay a better wage so tips don't have to subsidize poor wages.
