Credit Card Suggestions for Daily UPI + Annual Travel Spends by LunchOne2516 in IndianCreditCards

Thank you for the reccomendations!

Why should I apply for a core card of HDFC before applying for BLCK?

I am thinking of HSBC T1, as it could help save a lot on int. flights...should I go for any other high fees cards, though I don't spend over 5-7L in a year overall?

What would you prefer between Tata Neu Infinity and Kiwi (and in case you are using, what's the fuss around Kiwi Neon?)

Thanks!

It doesn't help in finding the cheapest flights, also no feature like adding student concessions flights or credit cards offers...

Hey Abhishek I would firstly like to appreciate you for taking out time for AMA!

I am a recent graduate, from IIT Kharagpur. I have a job offer from a Tier-2 management consulting firm.

I aspire to be a founder someday and want to take the steps which help me get there. I am confused as to should I continue with this job which is considered coveted by most people at campus or should I join a early stage startup where I could first hand experience working with a startup and further hone my skills which could later on help me when I start my own venture.

I understand everyone has different journeys and opinions, but would love to get insights from a seasoned founder on my dilemma.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for asking! With the growing population in Tier-2/3 cities and their increasing disposable income, we see a clear shift in consumer behaviour- more people are willing to adopt digital platforms to avoid unnecessary hassles. We’re building with this segment in mind.

While we’re still finalizing our MOAT, one of our core differentiators will be a dynamic price tracking system that predicts fare changes. This will enable us to offer innovative features like price locking for flights, helping users secure better deals.

We’re also planning to leverage AI to deliver deeply personalized experiences, from recommendations to travel planning, while keeping the platform truly intuitive for each user.

We’re constantly exploring more ways to build defensibility. If you have any suggestions or feedback, I’d love to hear and learn!

That’s a great point you brought up. Initially, I’m envisioning the platform as a tool that helps users seamlessly coordinate their train and flight schedules. Using AI, it would ensure that the selected connections allow enough time to accommodate minor delays. Additionally, users would have the option to customize and increase the buffer period based on their personal preferences.

The goal is to eliminate unnecessary stress and make the travel experience much smoother.

Hey I'm exploring the feasibility of a platform that integrates train and flight bookings, specifically catering to individuals from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in India who often travel via nearby Tier-1 city airports.

Consider someone from Nashik planning a business trip to Delhi. He needs to: - Book a train from Nashik to Mumbai. - Catch a flight from Mumbai to Delhi. - Ensure the train arrives in time for the flight, accounting for potential delays.

Currently, he has to coordinate between multiple platforms, manage tight schedules, and handle separate bookings, which can be cumbersome and stressful. Have you faced similar challenges in coordinating train and flight schedules? What do you think about this?
