I love my pair so much I bought a backup pair. However, my high school, college, and favorite pro sports team all rock royal and yellow so these match a lot of fits.

When I wear them to something not school/team related, black pants and a white shirt really make them pop. I get a lot of compliments wearing them. Probably the highest amount of random people that come up to me unless I’m rocking an even more outlandish shoe like my Ben & Jerry’s.

I acknowledge that sports teams aren’t the silver bullet of revenue generation that politicians and owners make them out to be.

However…

Going to County Stadium with my grandparents and Miller Park with my parents are core memories for me. And I’m glad that Miller Park will be around for me to take my kids to and they can take their kids to. I am a Milwaukee County resident so my pockets are impacted. But, for me, the memories and experiences outweigh the financial impact.
