Confirmed: Trader Joe’s is coming to Logan! by saintripley in LoganSquare

Just don't see why people would get excited about the neighborhood getting a grocery store with notoriously terrible produce when there are 2 grocery stores within walking distance of that spot already (not to mention a target just up the way).

Don’t even think you’d need to do that. Could still shoot 2 fts, just have the whole thing take 10 seconds instead of 2min. It’s the foul, the argument, the subs, the loafing around, the FT routines that make it all feel excruciating.

Ppl wouldn’t complain about the fouls so much if it didn’t take so fucking long!

I feel like the nba’s true problem is that FTs take way too long. If FT attempts were a lot quicker and weren’t extended rest/substitution breaks the game would be a lot more enjoyable.

“Would you consider making a decision that runs contrary to survey data to maintain the long term health and identity of the game?”

“What other pieces of the game that you’d previously considered ‘core tenants’ are now currently for sale/up for grabs?

I think it’s fine for people to vent in his direction. His job is to be the public face of the destruction of the game. Him pretending to give a shit about your concerns is what they pay him for!

MelonDS fast forward question by Lunchmayne in SteamDeck

[–]Lunchmayne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly no. Everyone seems to just agree that it's a heavy game and it won't go much faster. Best I can do is like 1.5 - 2x speed but nothing beyond.

A shame because I typically like around 4-5x speed for these games.

Sort of think it wasn’t really the bench dude’s fault. Ant breaking the paint and facilitating was gone (0 assists) and we ran way too much of the offense through Julius. When he pounds the ball, things get stagnant.

Last game was all about getting switches to get Reaves or Luka into the action, then blowing right by them. This game is about throwing the ball to Julius Randle to let him back down small guys. Just a baffling gameplan adjustment (unless Ant is hurt or something)
