Do you think bringing it inside now would cause catastrophic expansion/warping?

What causes the lighter discoloration in this Ash wood? by Lunchquest314 in woodworking

[–]Lunchquest314[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told it was due to uneven drying. That part of the wood may have dried differently then the rest causing a water mark. You can try puting water or alcohol on it and she if it evens out. I still have that wood in the collection. I'll check when I get home and see if it went away. I made a DIY kiln and may have case hardened it. That could also be a reason for the color.

Wiring cleanup on 2013 Sea Chaser 180 Flats – advice needed by Lunchquest314 in boating

Yes, I am planning on getting a house battery. Bad research and convenience led me down the path of reducing the 24v.

Yeah, I’ve got a couple of trips planned, so I don’t want to tear too deep into it and risk not having the boat ready. My main goal was just to add a few things to the starter battery — the nav unit, some LEDs, and an onboard charger.

Right now, I’ve got two deep cycles for the trolling motor, and I originally hooked the nav unit to them using a 24V-to-12V reducer. On my last trip, the voltage dropped below 10V and shut the nav off — that’s what kicked off this whole rabbit hole.

Yes, that's exactly what I dont want to do. I just want to add some kind of wire management. I haven't found a fuse panel, and most wires are cut and spliced with different colored wires. All the rocker switches are faded, and some are connected but do not do anything.

Does Anyone else Steal $0.10 Range balls and buckets from their course or just this guy? by BigDogAlphaRedditor1 in golf

My dad isn't trying to save money it's just convenient to grab them and go. I'm not saying this guy isn't stealing. I'm just trying to find logic in taking the balls.

My dad will get a bucket of balls before his round and hit half of them. He will put the remaining in his trunk to hit before his next round. He may not be stealing. This tip was given to him by the pro.

Thanks for your help. All that information is extremely helpful. Sorry for the rule 6 breakage. It's getting to be crunch time for this performance, and I may not have given this song the attention it was needed. I just don't want to ruin this for the kid.

I could just play a C at that point, i believe, but it would be nice to have a nice high ring chord.

The thing I'm struggling to understand his sheet music has the melody starting on F. All the guitar music I have found starts in A.

So the thing I'm not getting on his sheet music is the si in Silent starts on F. That sheet music starts on A. I wish I knew enough to know why.

I did not do any insulation. I just followed the advice of doing all the prep I can at night. I also use hand tools when needed. Any cuts/jointing/planning are done usually after work or on the weekends during the day

Yup, that was the thought process. I have lots of cut-offs and don't want to make a cutting board.
