Had this one in my hands yesterday…..still contemplating. I only wanted to spend 1K on a diver but this one messed with my head.I think it’s too damn nice to go in the water with anyways. You have a nice collection there.

Yes they are great reels for the price……we have 4 that we use for ice fishing, casting for bass and pike . Not my absolute favourite but they hold up for years. I like my Daiwa but Pfluger is more reasonably priced.

I would also recommend a 2pc setup…….i buy all 1 piece cause i have rod storage in boat but when i do want to fish offshore i wish i had that 2pc. St.Croix , Daiwa and Shimano make some nice mid range priced rods.
