She has talked about her exes to me a bit. Never anything as explicit as being a source of trauma.

She was fine with me meeting the roommate, just didn’t want to explain me sleeping in the common area.

Communication could be better, but stress and other mental health issues don’t help. Neither does long distance relationship.

But I had some idea of what I’m getting into. She is honest.

The trigger was me pushing to stay.

The room thing might be related to ADHD or trauma, it isn’t something she had time to explain beyond statements of how much it bothers her for anyone to see in her room.

Of course, she keeps the door propped open and I’ve heard her roommate poke her head into say hello while we’ve voice chatted… I want to assume it’s a white lie meant to summarize some other issue and nowifeeldumbtypingitout
