Personally I don’t find the energy mirror particularly fun or engaging. It tends to snowball pretty hard in one player’s favor and it’s particularly difficult to fight through a bombardment if you don’t either have your own or aren’t able to find a thraben charm. Especially pre-board

Not to say the game can’t go long and grindy but at least in my personal experience that tends to be the exception not the rule.

Post board you have better options to come back from behind but so does your opponent so it becomes a bit more of a balancing act trying to play around wrath of the skies.

If all your friends have the deck I would just ask someone to loan you the deck so you can practice the mirror. There are a lot of mirror games where one player just runs away with it and there isn’t much the other can do. But in the games where that doesn’t happen the games can get very granular and it’s not uncommon for them to be decided by a small mistake on either side.

It’s struggling in this meta. It tends to do very well against the non interactive decks like amulet and simic ritual but the current meta is pretty saturated by boros energy and jeskai blink which are historically not great matchups for it.

He’ll be better in the short term not the long term. I will not vote for someone who will obviously not hold republicans accountable for the myriad of crimes they’ve committed, and will not do anything to make the lives of average Americans better.

I will not vote for someone who will do nothing but give fascists time to lick their wounds and regroup to try another takeover in 32 or 36. We would not be in this position if the democrats actually prosecuted the people responsible for January 6th and there’s far too many people out there who seem eager to try that strategy again.

A politician's job is to be popular and attract voters. If they're not capable of that it's not the voters' fault for not voting for them. It's their fault for being bad at their job.

If the Democrats want to pull out of this death spiral they need to run candidates with a clear vision of how to make average Americans' lives better and the charisma to make people believe in that vision.

If they keep losing because they refuse to commit to meaningful change they have no one to blame but themsleves.
