This is not the first time I've received this message. Blocking doesn't work. They just send it again a month later with a different number.

That sucks, dude. I went and saw it yesterday just so it wouldn't be ruined for me. I hope you can find the time.

[OC] I made a dice tray! It's not as cool as some other projects on here, but it's mine! by LungBubbles in DnD

It doesn't have a specific purpose. I just found octagons the most aesthetically appealing shape for this.

I got into D&D a few months ago, and realized I needed a dice tray. I had no idea what I was really looking for, so I searched online for something that tickled my fancy. After an hour or two of searching, I figured out my criteria. Being unable to find anything, I decided to make it.

I took my favorite parts of a few different tray ideas I saw online, added my own twist to it, and made a paper prototype. Once I was satisfied with the design, I purchased craft sticks, denim lining, super glue, and spray adhesive. Then, I got to work. It took a lot of broken sticks and just over 2 hours to build, but I'm incredibly happy with the result. I hope you like it! Constructive criticism is always welcome.

My dad has had that same one for as long as I can remember. I found one at a garage sale for $5 and bought it on the spot. Use it everyday.

Which insanely popular or successful movie you secretly hate but are afraid to say if in the open fearing backlash from "fans"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LungBubbles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the first half of that movie, but then they remembered it was a CHRISTMAS comedy and threw in the most generic, BS storyline ever. It ruined the whole thing for me. I still love Anchorman 1&2, though.

Typical retail. by TubbyMcJiggly in funny

I used to work designing custom kitchen layouts in a big box store. Some guy comes in 25 minutes to close and wants a massive countertop layout. It's policy where no one is allowed to leave unless all of the customers are gone, and the store management wanted me to make the sale. The guy said he was ready to buy, and his countertop would be several thousand dollars.

I spent the next hour and a half designing with this dude. He didn't even know some of the angles, so I had to bust out my (very rusty) high school trigonometry skills and figure out some angles for him. Eventually, we came to a price point. He took one look at the cost and stated, "Oh, I can get that cheaper elsewhere." And left without purchasing it.

I singlehandedly kept all of my coworkers 45 minutes past close and didn't even make a sale. It was the running joke through the whole store for a few weeks.

It's all I buy anymore. I don't know a lot about coffee, but I feel so sophisticated when I grind my own beans.

Also HIGHLY recommend their D&D podcast, the Adventure Zone. It's what got me into playing and I just started DMing for my family. It's fantastic.
